Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. Consult physician for proper monitoring.

  1. Do not use on infants, young children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Do not use during dialysis or if you have pre-eclampsia (consult doctor).
  3. Do not take measurements on arm with intravenous drip or surgical wounds.
  4. Wait at least 1 hour after exercise, bathing, eating, or drinking caffeine/alcohol.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement; do not talk.

Initial Setup

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug adapter into port and wall outlet.
  3. Set date and time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.

NOTE: Use correct cuff size (22-32 cm arm circumference). Incorrect size affects accuracy.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  3. Press START/STOP button. Monitor inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes (approx. 30 seconds).
  5. Reading displays systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
  6. To turn off, press START/STOP again or wait for auto power-off.

Tip: Take measurements at same time daily for consistent tracking.

Understanding the Display

LCD shows: Systolic pressure (upper number), Diastolic pressure (lower number), Pulse rate, Date/Time, Memory number, Hypertension indicator (if systolic ≥135 or diastolic ≥85), Irregular heartbeat symbol (if detected), Body movement symbol (if detected), Low battery icon, Cuff wrap guide.

Memory Function

Stores last 14 readings with date and time.

  1. View memory: Press Memory button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Clear memory: Press and hold Memory button for 5 seconds until "0" appears.
  3. Memory full: Oldest reading is overwritten when memory exceeds 14 readings.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed (for approx. 5 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent; air dry completely.
  2. Storage: Keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  3. Battery replacement: Replace when low battery icon appears.
  4. Accuracy check: Have device checked annually by authorized service center.
