Device Overview

Front Panel: Large LCD Display, START/STOP Button, MEMORY Button.

Initial Setup

Power on the device and configure basic settings.

  1. Insert Batteries/Connect AC Adapter: Open battery compartment on back; insert 4 AA batteries (observing polarity) or plug in AC adapter.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds until the year flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust values and MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting (month, day, hour, minute).
  3. Select User: Briefly press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2. The user icon will appear on the display.
  4. Apply the Cuff: Sit quietly for 5 minutes. Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure air tube is centered over inner arm. Wrap cuff snugly.

Tip: For most accurate results, take measurements at the same time each day, before medication and meals.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for a proper reading.

  1. Sit comfortably on a chair with feet flat on the floor and back supported.
  2. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Palm should be facing up.
  3. Ensure the cuff is correctly applied (see Initial Setup).
  4. Press the START/STOP button. The monitor will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and silent until measurement is complete and results are displayed.
  6. The monitor will automatically deflate. Your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will show.
  7. To turn off the device, press START/STOP again. It will auto-power-off after 1 minute of inactivity.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around your arm.

Understanding Your Readings

The display shows key information.

Refer to the classification chart in the manual or consult your doctor to understand your blood pressure category.

Memory Function

Stores up to 60 readings for each of 2 users.

  1. Viewing Memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading for the selected user appears. Press MEMORY again to scroll through previous readings. The average of the last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes is displayed first.
  2. Clearing Memory: To clear memory for the current user, press and hold the MEMORY button while in memory mode until "CLr" appears. Release the button to confirm.
  3. Switching Users: Ensure the monitor is off. Briefly press MEMORY to select User 1 or User 2 before taking a measurement.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter/remove batteries before cleaning.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the monitor. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
