Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps precisely for an accurate reading.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor and back supported.
  2. Place the cuff on your bare left wrist. Secure it snugly but not too tight.
  3. Rest your elbow on a table and raise your hand so the cuff is at heart level. Relax your hand.
  4. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until the measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
  6. Your systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate will be displayed.
  7. The monitor will automatically store the reading (if user is selected) and power off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.
