First-Time Setup

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect cuff: Insert cuff tube connector into port on left side of monitor until it clicks.
  3. Set date/time: Press MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to toggle between USER 1 and USER 2.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly connected before use. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Controls and Display

Front Panel: POWER, START/STOP, MEMORY, USER. Display shows systolic/diastolic pressure, pulse rate, date/time, user indicator, battery status, and warning symbols.

Display Symbols: Heart symbol (pulse), Clock (date/time), User 1/2 indicator, Battery icon, Hypertension warning, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Body movement detection icon.

Settings: Date/time format (MM/DD or DD/MM), backlight duration (15/30/60 seconds), measurement unit (mmHg/kPa).

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow proper procedure.

  1. Sit comfortably with back straight and feet flat on floor.
  2. Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position cuff tube over inner arm center.
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
  6. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes.
  7. Read results on display (systolic/diastolic/pulse).

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes before measurement.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls previous measurements.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to display average of last 3 readings.
  2. Scroll through readings: Press START/STOP while in memory mode to view individual readings with date/time.
  3. Clear memory: Hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears (clears current user's memory only).
  4. Switch users: Press USER button to toggle between USER 1 and USER 2 memory.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Advanced Features

Hypertension Indicator: Displays if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg. Irregular Heartbeat Detection: Symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Body Movement Detection: "M" symbol appears if excessive movement detected.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water. Store in case when not in use. Replace cuff if damaged or stiff.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol or solvents. Keep away from extreme temperatures and humidity.

Troubleshooting
