First-Time Setup

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into monitor and wall outlet (optional, for continuous power).
  3. Set date/time: Press SET button, use arrow keys to adjust, press START/STOP to confirm.
  4. Attach cuff: Ensure cuff tube is properly connected to monitor.

Taking Measurements

For accurate readings, follow proper procedure.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
  6. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  7. View results on display (systolic, diastolic, pulse).
  8. Results are automatically stored for selected user.
  9. Press START/STOP again to turn off or wait for auto power-off.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls previous readings.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average calculation: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.
  4. Clear memory: Hold SET button for 3 seconds while in memory mode to clear current user's memory.

Note: Memory is maintained even when batteries are removed.

Maintenance & Care

Unplug AC adapter before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth only; do not use liquids or solvents.

  1. Cuff cleaning: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry completely.
  2. Monitor cleaning: Use dry cloth only; avoid getting moisture in openings.
  3. Storage: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Battery replacement: Replace when battery indicator appears on display.
