Safety Precautions

First-Time Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press MEMORY button, use SET button to adjust values.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  5. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff to bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position cuff at heart level, palm facing upward.
  4. Press START/STOP button - device will automatically inflate.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays when complete - note systolic/diastolic pressures and pulse.
  7. Press START/STOP again to turn off device, or it will auto power-off after 1 minute.

Tip: Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same arm.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls previous readings.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Check average: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to display average of last 3 readings.
  3. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold SET button for 5 seconds to clear current user's memory.
  4. Switch users: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 memories.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 50 readings are stored per user.

Advanced Features

IntelliSense Technology: Automatically determines optimal inflation level. Hypertension Detection: Displays warning symbol if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg. Irregular Heartbeat Detection: Displays symbol if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Body Movement Detection: Displays symbol and may restart measurement if movement detected.

Care & Cleaning

Remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.

  1. Cuff cleaning: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry completely.
  2. Storage: Keep in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Battery maintenance: Remove batteries if not using for extended period.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble unit.
