Omron Series 7 Wrist Manual

The Omron Series 7 Wrist is a clinically validated, automatic blood pressure monitor designed for convenient at-home use. It features IntelliSense® technology for comfortable inflation, irregular heartbeat detection, hypertension indication, body movement detection, and a large, easy-to-read display. Safety Information

Read all instructions before use.

  1. This device is for home use only, not for professional medical diagnosis.
  2. Do not use on infants, children, or persons who cannot express themselves.
  3. Consult your physician before use if you have arrhythmia, poor circulation, or other cardiovascular conditions.
  4. Do not use the device on a wounded or injured wrist.
  5. Wait at least 5 minutes between consecutive measurements on the same person.

WARNING! Do not modify the device. Keep batteries away from children. Do not use near flammable gas or in an MRI environment.

Front Panel:

Wrist Cuff: Integrated with the main unit. Contains the air tube, positioning mark, and metal D-ring.

Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Before first use, install batteries and set the time.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the cover securely.
  4. Press the START/STOP button. The display will show all segments briefly.
  5. To set the clock: Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds. Use the START/STOP button to adjust hours/minutes and the MEMORY button to confirm and move to the next setting.

Tip: Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears on the display.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Prepare: Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or bathing for 30 minutes prior. Sit quietly for 5 minutes.
  2. Position: Place the cuff on your bare left wrist with the palm facing up. Position the cuff edge 0.5-1 inch (1-2 cm) from your hand. The display should be facing you.
  3. Secure: Wrap the cuff snugly around your wrist and fasten it with the cloth closure.
  4. Posture: Rest your elbow on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Relax your hand with palm up.
  5. Start: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete.
  6. Read: Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed. The reading is automatically stored in memory.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure the cuff is at heart level.

Understanding the Display & Symbols

Memory Function

The device stores the last 100 readings with date and time for two users.

  1. To view memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading for the selected user appears.
  2. To switch users: Press the USER button to toggle between U1 and U2.
  3. To scroll: Press the MEMORY button repeatedly to scroll through older readings.
  4. To clear all memory: While in memory mode, press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds until "CLR" appears. Release to clear all data for the current user.

Note: Memory is retained even when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Uninstall batteries before cleaning.

CAUTION! Never attempt to repair the device yourself.

Troubleshooting
