Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector port until it clicks.
Set date/time: Press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds, use Memory button to adjust.
Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.
Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.
Keep cuff at heart level. Rest arm on table.
Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
Remain still and quiet during measurement.
Reading displays when complete. Device deflates automatically.
Record reading if desired. Device stores automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Device stores last 14 readings for each of 2 users.

Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to clear current user's memory.
Average reading: Device displays average of last 3 readings when in memory mode.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Troubleshooting
