Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all parts are present.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug adapter into DC jack and wall outlet.
  3. Set date and time: Press SET button, use arrow keys to adjust.
  4. Attach cuff: Connect air plug to main unit until it clicks.

First-Time Use

Prepare for accurate measurement.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  3. Apply cuff to bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP to begin measurement.

CAUTION! Do not move or talk during measurement. Avoid taking measurements after eating, bathing, or exercising.

  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display when complete.
  6. Cuff deflates: Remove cuff after measurement.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores and reviews previous readings.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Check average: Display shows average of last 3 readings for current user.
  3. Clear memory: In settings menu, select "Clear All Memory" option.
  4. Date/Time stamp: Each reading includes measurement timestamp.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth only.

  1. Clean cuff: Wipe with damp cloth, air dry completely.
  2. Clean unit: Use dry cloth; avoid liquids.
  3. Store properly: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place.
  4. Replace batteries: When battery icon appears low.
