Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Attach cuff tube to main unit connector.
  4. AC adapter: Plug adapter into unit and wall outlet (optional).

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow proper procedure.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  3. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Select user: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button.
  6. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button.
  7. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  8. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display automatically.
  9. Results are automatically stored with date/time.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Access and manage stored readings.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. View average: Press DISPLAY button to show average of last 3 readings for current user.
  3. Delete memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds while in memory mode to delete all readings for current user.
  4. Switch users: Press USER 1 or USER 2 to access different memory banks.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 100 readings stored per user.
