Setting Up Your Monitor

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into DC jack on side of unit and wall outlet (optional).
  3. Set date and time: Press and hold CLOCK button, use SET to adjust values.
  4. Attach cuff: Insert cuff tube into connector until it clicks securely.
  5. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries and AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor and back supported.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Cuff tube should align with artery marker.
  4. Position arm so cuff is at heart level on table or armrest.
  5. Press START/STOP button. Monitor will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement. Do not move arm or talk.
  7. Reading displays with systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
  8. Cuff deflates automatically. Press START/STOP to turn off if needed.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 100 readings per user with date and time.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 before measurement.
  2. View memory: Press and hold USER button for 3 seconds to enter memory mode.
  3. Scroll readings: Press SET button to scroll through stored readings.
  4. View average: In memory mode, press START/STOP to display average of last 3 readings.
  5. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold SET button for 5 seconds until "CLR" appears.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are removed (for approximately 3 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean monitor with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use liquids or aerosols.
  2. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled. Air dry completely before use.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery indicator appears.
  5. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs. Contact authorized service center.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners. Keep away from children.
