Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. Not for use with infants or without prescription if required.

  1. Do not use on injured or sore arms.
  2. Do not use during dialysis or with intravenous infusion.
  3. Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same person.
  4. Do not use in presence of flammable gases.
  5. Keep device away from children and pets.

Parts Identification

Front View: Display, START/STOP Button, Memory Button. Left Side: AC Adapter Port. Cuff: D-Ring, Air Tube, Metal Ring, Marker Line.

  1. Display: Shows systolic/diastolic pressure, pulse, date/time, memory number, and icons.
  2. START/STOP Button: Starts and stops measurement.
  3. Memory Button: Recalls stored readings.
  4. AC Adapter Port: For optional AC adapter connection.
  5. Cuff: Wrap around left upper arm (marker line should align with artery).

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is not twisted and tube is not kinked before measurement.

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds until year flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust values, Memory to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Apply Cuff: Sit quietly for 5 minutes. Place cuff on bare left upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure marker line aligns with artery. Secure with D-Ring.
  4. Position Arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Sit with back straight, feet flat on floor.

Tip: For most accurate readings, avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes before measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Remain still and quiet during measurement.

  1. Press START/STOP: Device inflates automatically. Cuff will tighten then gradually deflate.
  2. Remain Still: Keep arm still and relaxed. Do not talk during measurement.
  3. Reading Displayed: Systolic, diastolic pressure and pulse rate appear on display.
  4. Automatic Storage: Reading is automatically stored with date/time (unless memory is full).
  5. Remove Cuff: Wait for complete deflation, then remove cuff.

Note: If body movement is detected, "MOVE" icon appears. Remain still and measurement will continue.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings. When memory is full, oldest reading is overwritten.

  1. View Memory: Press Memory button to display latest reading. Press again to scroll through previous readings.
  2. Memory Number: Each reading shows memory number (1-100), date, and time.
  3. Clear Memory: To clear all memory, remove batteries for 24 hours or use reset function if available.
  4. Average Reading: Device can display average of last 3 readings taken within last 10 minutes.

Tip: Record readings in a log for your physician. Memory function is for personal tracking only.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water.

  1. Storage: Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Cuff Cleaning: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent. Air dry completely before storage.
  3. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Remove batteries if device not used for extended period.
  4. Do Not: Disassemble, expose to extreme temperatures, or use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff in washing machine or use alcohol-based cleaners on display.
