Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air plug into device socket until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press User button to choose User A or User B.

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Keep cuff at heart level, relax arm on table.
  5. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Reading displays when complete. Cuff deflates automatically.
  8. Record results if desired. Device stores automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Review stored measurements.

  1. Select user: Press User button for A or B.
  2. View memory: Press Memory button to scroll through stored readings (most recent first).
  3. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for selected user.
  4. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds to clear all readings for current user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth only. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean device with dry soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store in carrying case when not in use, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period (3 months or more).
  5. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or shows signs of wear.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt repairs. No user-serviceable parts inside.
