Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the monitor on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back, insert 4 AA batteries, observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC Adapter (Optional): Plug the adapter into the DC jack on the side of the monitor and into a wall outlet.
  3. Set Date and Time: Press the CLOCK button and use the MEMORY button to set the correct date and time.
  4. Apply the Cuff: Place the cuff on your bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above the elbow. The air tube should run down the center of your arm.

WARNING! Do not use on infants, small children, or persons who cannot express themselves. Ensure the cuff is not overly tight.

First-Time Use

Power on the monitor; ensure proper cuff placement.

  1. Select User: Press the USER button to select User 1 or User 2 before starting.
  2. Initial Measurement: Sit quietly for 5 minutes. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Press START/STOP.
  3. Reading Results: The monitor will display your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  4. Memory Storage: The reading is automatically saved to the selected user's memory.

CAUTION! Remain still and quiet during measurement. Do not inflate the cuff while it is wrapped around your arm.

Controls and Display

Access functions via buttons on the front panel.

Front Panel Buttons: START/STOP, USER, MEMORY, CLOCK.

Display Icons: User 1/2, Memory Full, Irregular Heartbeat, Hypertension Warning, Battery Low, Average Mode, Date/Time, Systolic/Diastolic/Pulse readings.

Settings: Use CLOCK button to set date/time. Use MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings. Press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds to delete all memory for the current user.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Wrap the cuff securely on your bare upper arm at heart level.
  3. Press the USER button to select your profile (User 1 or User 2).
  4. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and do not talk until the measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
  6. Your blood pressure and pulse will be displayed and automatically saved.
  7. To take an average of the last 3 readings, press the START/STOP button twice quickly after the first measurement.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings for each of the two users.

  1. View Memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading appears.
  2. Scroll: Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings in reverse chronological order.
  3. View Average: While in memory mode, the display shows the average of all readings for that user at the top.
  4. Delete Memory: To delete all readings for the current user, press and hold the START/STOP button for 3 seconds until "CLr" appears.

WARNING! Deleting memory is permanent. Ensure you wish to clear the data before proceeding.

Health Indicators

Irregular Heartbeat Detector: An icon appears if an irregular rhythm is detected during measurement. Consult your physician if this icon appears frequently.

Hypertension Indicator: A warning symbol appears if your systolic reading is 135 mmHg or higher, or your diastolic reading is 85 mmHg or higher (based on WHO guidelines for home monitoring).

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries if the monitor will not be used for 3 months or more. Clean the cuff and monitor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use harsh chemicals.

CAUTION! Do not wash the cuff. Do not disassemble the monitor. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
