Parts Identification

Familiarize yourself with the device components before first use.

  1. Main Unit: Contains the display, control buttons, and internal pump.
  2. Arm Cuff: Wraps around your upper arm. Includes the air tube, D-ring, and Velcro fastener.
  3. Air Tube: Connects the cuff to the main unit.
  4. AC Adapter Port: Located on the side of the main unit.
  5. Battery Compartment: Located on the back of the main unit (requires 4 AA batteries).

WARNING! Do not disassemble the main unit or cuff. Keep the air tube free from kinks.

Initial Setup

Prepare the device for first use by installing batteries and setting the date/time.

  1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back and insert 4 new AA batteries, observing polarity.
  2. Connect the Cuff: Plug the air tube connector firmly into the port on the side of the main unit.
  3. Set Date and Time: Press the MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use the START/STOP button to adjust values and MEMORY to confirm and move to the next setting.
  4. Cuff Positioning: Learn the correct way to apply the cuff to your upper arm (see section 5).

CAUTION! Use only specified batteries or AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Specifications

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, remain still and quiet during measurement.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid caffeine, exercise, and smoking for 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor and back supported.
  3. Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above the elbow. The tube should run down the center of your arm.
  4. Position the cuff so the artery marker (▼) aligns with your brachial artery.
  5. Secure the cuff snugly using the D-ring and Velcro.
  6. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  7. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  8. Remain still and do not talk until the measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
  9. Your systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse will be displayed.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding the Display

The LCD shows various icons and values during and after measurement.

Main Values: Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate.

Icons:
Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if an irregular rhythm is detected.
Hypertension Indicator: Appears if reading is 135/85 mmHg or higher.
Movement Symbol: Appears if body movement is detected.
WHO Indicator: Color bars (Green, Yellow, Orange, Red) show classification.
Memory Number: Shows the position of the current reading in memory.
Date & Time: Stamp for the reading.
Low Battery: Indicates batteries need replacement.

Memory Function

The device stores the last 100 readings with date and time.

  1. To view memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading appears.
  2. To scroll: Press MEMORY again to scroll through previous readings in reverse chronological order.
  3. To clear all memory: While in memory mode, press and hold the START/STOP button for 3 seconds until "CLr" appears. All readings will be erased.

Note: Memory is retained even when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the air tube and remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe the main unit and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.

CAUTION! Do not wash the cuff. Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, or direct sunlight. Store in the provided case when not in use.

Battery Information

Use 4 AA alkaline batteries. The low battery icon appears when replacement is needed.

  1. To replace: Open the battery compartment and remove old batteries.
  2. Insert new batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the compartment cover securely.

Disposal: Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not incinerate.
