Setup and Preparation

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter; set date and time.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold CLOCK button, use SET/+ buttons to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level, sit quietly for 5 minutes.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is not twisted and fits snugly but not too tight. Remove tight clothing from arm.

Front Panel: START/STOP, MEMORY, USER, CLOCK, SET/+ buttons. Display Icons: Systolic/Diastolic, Pulse, User 1/2, Memory, Hypertension, Irregular Heartbeat, Battery, Date/Time.

Button Functions: START/STOP begins measurement; MEMORY recalls stored data; USER selects user profile; CLOCK sets date/time; SET/+ adjusts values.

Display Readings: Shows systolic pressure (top), diastolic pressure (middle), pulse rate (bottom). Hypertension indicator appears if systolic ≥135 or diastolic ≥85. Irregular heartbeat symbol flashes if detected.

Taking a Measurement

Ensure proper cuff placement and relaxed posture.

  1. Sit quietly with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Press START/STOP; cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading displays with pulse; cuff deflates automatically.
  6. Result is stored automatically for selected user.
  7. Wait at least 3 minutes before next measurement.

Tip: Avoid talking or moving during measurement for most accurate results.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings per user with date and time.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 (icon appears).
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average reading: Display shows average of last three readings for current user.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to delete all readings for selected user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed; date/time reset if batteries depleted.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth; do not immerse in water. Store in cool, dry place.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth if soiled; air dry completely.
  2. Battery care: Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  3. Storage: Keep in provided case when not in use; avoid extreme temperatures.
  4. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
