Specifications

Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back, insert 4 AA batteries matching polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, Memory to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Apply Cuff: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement. Wrap cuff on left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician) with artery mark over brachial artery.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries or AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported, and arm resting on table at heart level.
  2. Select User: Press User 1 or User 2 button. Corresponding symbol will appear on display.
  3. Apply cuff correctly: Insert end through D-ring, snug but not tight (allow one finger underneath).
  4. Press START/STOP: Cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading Displayed: Results (systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse) appear on screen. Cuff deflates automatically.
  6. Memory Storage: Reading is automatically stored for selected user.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

View, recall, or delete stored readings.

  1. View Memory: Press Memory button. Most recent reading for selected user appears.
  2. Scroll Through Memory: Press START/STOP to scroll through stored readings in reverse chronological order.
  3. View Average: While in memory mode, press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds to display average of last three readings.
  4. Delete All Memory: With device off, press and hold both User 1 and User 2 buttons, then press START/STOP. "CLr" appears, then all memory is cleared.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe main unit and cuff with soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Storage: Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  3. Cuff Care: Do not fold cuff tightly or bend air tube sharply. Do not wash cuff.
  4. Batteries: Remove batteries if device will not be used for 3 months or more.

CAUTION! Never immerse device in water or other liquids. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
