First-Time Setup

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into AC port and wall outlet (optional, for continuous use).
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff around bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow, with tube facing downward.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level, palm up, feet flat on floor.
  5. Power on: Device turns on when START/STOP button is pressed.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow proper procedure for accurate results.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Apply cuff: Position correctly on bare upper arm.
  3. Start measurement: Press START/STOP, remain still and quiet.
  4. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display after inflation/deflation.
  5. Store reading: Automatically saved to current user's memory.
  6. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time daily for consistent tracking. Avoid caffeine, exercise, or smoking 30 minutes before.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls up to 100 readings per user.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Switch users: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  3. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for current user.
  4. Clear memory: In memory mode, hold MEMORY and USER simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Note: Memory full icon appears when 100 readings stored; oldest reading is overwritten.

Special Features

IntelliSense: Automatically adjusts inflation based on systolic pressure. Irregular Heartbeat Detection: Displays symbol if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Hypertension Indicator: Shows warning if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg. Body Movement Detection: Alerts if excessive movement affects accuracy.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth if soiled; air dry completely.
  2. Battery replacement: Replace when low battery icon appears.
  3. Storage: Keep in case, away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and dust.
