Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Ensure device is on a stable surface.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug adapter into DC jack and wall outlet.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air plug from cuff to the air jack on the main unit.
  4. Set date and time: Press MEMORY button, use SET to adjust values.

WARNING! Use only specified batteries and adapter. Do not use near flammable gases.

First-Time Use

Power on device; follow proper measurement procedure.

  1. Apply cuff correctly: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  2. Sit properly: Sit with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.
  3. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button; remain still and quiet.
  4. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate display automatically.

CAUTION! Do not take measurements immediately after exercise, eating, or bathing. Rest for 5 minutes.

Taking a Measurement

Proper technique ensures accurate readings.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Sit comfortably with legs uncrossed.
  3. Wrap cuff snugly around bare upper arm.
  4. Position arm so cuff is at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP; remain still until measurement completes.
  6. Record reading if desired.
  7. Cuff deflates automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 200 total readings (100 per user).

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through readings.
  2. Select user: Press SET while in memory mode to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  3. View average: Display shows average of last 3 readings for selected user.
  4. Clear memory: Hold SET button for 3 seconds in memory mode to clear all readings for current user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Special Features

Irregular Heartbeat Detection: Displays symbol if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Hypertension Indicator: Shows symbol if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg. Body Movement Detection: Alerts if excessive movement occurs; may require restart.

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries if not using for extended period. Clean with soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents or abrasives. Store in cool, dry place.
