Safety Information

Read all instructions before use. This device is for home use only.

  1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Do not use during physical exercise or immediately after.
  3. Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same person.
  4. Do not use the monitor or cuff if damaged.

Parts Identification

Familiarize yourself with the monitor components.

  1. Main Unit: Contains LCD display, control buttons, and internal pump.
  2. LCD Display: Shows systolic/diastolic pressure, pulse, indicators, and memory.
  3. ComFit Cuff: Pre-formed cuff with D-ring for easy application.
  4. Air Tube: Connects cuff to main unit.
  5. START/STOP Button: Starts and stops measurements.
  6. Memory Button: Recalls stored measurements.
  7. AC Adapter Port: For connecting power adapter.
  8. Battery Compartment: Holds 4 AA batteries.

CAUTION! Handle the air tube carefully to avoid kinks or damage.

Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Attach air tube connector to port on left side of monitor.
  4. AC adapter: Plug adapter into monitor and wall outlet (optional, for home use).

Tip: For most accurate results, use AC power when available.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back straight, feet flat on floor, and legs uncrossed.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  3. Apply cuff to bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow with tube facing palm.
  4. Position cuff at heart level (arm resting on table).
  5. Press START/STOP button. Monitor will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Reading displays with systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
  8. Monitor automatically deflates and powers off after 2 minutes.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Memory Function

Store and recall measurements for tracking.

  1. Automatic Storage: Readings are automatically stored with date/time.
  2. User Selection: Device stores for two users (User A and User B).
  3. Recall Readings: Press MEMORY button to view stored readings.
  4. Cycle Through: Press MEMORY repeatedly to view all stored readings.
  5. Average Reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for current user.
  6. Clear Memory: Remove batteries for 10 seconds to clear all memory.

Note: Memory is maintained when switching between battery and AC power.

Understanding Results

Interpret the display symbols and readings.

Important: Irregular heartbeat symbol does not diagnose medical conditions. Consult physician if symbol appears frequently.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

  1. Clean monitor with soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth. Air dry completely before storage.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended periods (more than 3 months).
  5. Do not immerse any part of the monitor in water.
  6. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.

CAUTION! Never wash or immerse the cuff in water. Do not twist or kink the air tube.
