Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button (User 1/User 2), Clock Set button.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, Hypertension indicator, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Body movement detection, Memory full indicator, User indicator, Battery level, Date/Time display.

Rear Panel: AC adapter jack, Cuff connector port, Battery compartment (4 AA batteries).

Before First Use

Prepare device for first measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press Clock Set button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert cuff tube connector into device port until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.

Tip: For most accurate readings, use AC adapter instead of batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes before measurement. Sit with back straight, feet flat.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Relax hand with palm upward.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display when measurement completes.
  7. Cuff deflation: Cuff deflates automatically. Remove cuff after measurement.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff more than once within 2 minutes to allow circulation to return.

Symbol Indicators: Hypertension symbol appears if systolic ≥ 135 or diastolic ≥ 85. Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected. Body movement symbol appears if excessive movement detected.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 60 readings (30 per user).

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average reading: Last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes are averaged automatically.
  4. Clear memory: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed. Date and time must be reset after battery replacement.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and device longevity.

CAUTION! Never immerse device in water or other liquids. Do not disassemble device.
