Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER 1/USER 2 buttons, LCD display. Cuff: Air tube connector, D-ring, artery mark. Rear: Battery compartment, AC adapter jack.

Before First Use

Prepare the device for initial use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (or connect AC adapter).
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff correctly: Ensure the artery mark aligns with your brachial artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid caffeine, smoking, and exercise for 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably: Back supported, feet flat, arm resting on table at heart level.
  2. Wrap cuff: Place cuff 1-2 cm above elbow, tighten snugly.
  3. Select user: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move until measurement is complete.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate will display.
  7. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff without it being wrapped around your arm.

Note: The hypertension indicator ( ) will appear if systolic ≥ 135 or diastolic ≥ 85.

Memory Function

Stores readings for two users separately.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete a reading: While viewing a reading, press and hold START/STOP.
  3. Clear all memory: With device off, press and hold MEMORY and USER 1 simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Average reading: Displays average of last three readings taken at the same time of day (AM/PM).

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug or remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean cuff: Use a soft cloth dampened with water or mild detergent. Do not machine wash.
  2. Clean unit: Wipe with dry, soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Storage: Keep in storage case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Use alkaline batteries.

CAUTION! Do not immerse any part in water. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or humidity.
