Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug adapter into port and wall outlet.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air tube to main unit until it clicks.
  4. Set user: Press MEMORY button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to enter setting mode.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries or AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit in a chair with feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Secure cuff: Pass end through D-ring, tighten snugly but comfortably.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement. Do not move arm or talk.
  7. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display when complete.
  8. Remove cuff: Press quick-release valve to deflate completely before removing.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 30 readings for each of 2 users.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for current user.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  4. User selection: Press MEMORY briefly to toggle between User 1 and User 2.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean main unit: Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Clean cuff: Use mild soap and damp cloth, then air dry completely.
