Safety Precautions

  2. Do not use on infants, children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  3. Do not use during or immediately after physical exercise, bathing, eating, or drinking alcohol/caffeine.
  4. Ensure wrist cuff is at heart level during measurement for accurate results.

Device Components

Identify all parts before use.

  1. Main Unit: Contains LCD display, buttons, and internal pump.
  2. Wrist Cuff: Pre-formed cuff with Velcro closure.

  4. Batteries: Two AAA batteries (included).

Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert two AAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff correctly: Place on left wrist (unless instructed otherwise), 0.5-1 inch above wrist bone.
  4. Positioning: Sit comfortably, rest elbow on table, raise wrist to heart level.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back straight and feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff to left wrist as described in Initial Setup.
  3. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete (cuff deflates).
  5. Readings display: Systolic, diastolic, pulse, and any indicators.
  6. Device automatically stores reading (if memory available).
  7. Press START/STOP again to turn off display, or wait for auto power-off.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff without proper positioning. Excessive pressure may cause discomfort.

Memory Function

Review and manage stored readings.

  1. Press MEMORY button to display most recent reading.
  2. Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through stored readings (newest to oldest).
  3. Each reading shows systolic/diastolic pressure, pulse, date, and time.
  4. Memory full: Oldest reading is overwritten when 15th reading is taken.
  5. Clear memory: Remove batteries for 10 seconds (erases all data).

Note: Memory is for single user only. For multiple users, record readings separately.

Understanding Results

Interpret display symbols and readings.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; air dry completely.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry, soft cloth.
  3. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  5. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  6. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.

CAUTION! Do not sterilize with autoclave, ethylene oxide gas, or radiation. Avoid extreme temperatures.
