Getting Started

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure air tube aligns with artery.
  3. Position: Sit comfortably with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.
  4. Power on: Press START/STOP button to begin.

CAUTION! Do not over-tighten cuff. Ensure cuff is not twisted.

Taking a Measurement

Follow proper procedure for accurate results.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Sit correctly with arm supported at heart level.
  3. Apply cuff properly as described in Getting Started.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays when complete. Cuff deflates automatically.
  7. Record reading if desired, or it will be stored automatically.
  8. Remove cuff after measurement.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 90 readings with date and time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to cycle through stored readings.
  2. Memory index: Shows current reading number (e.g., 01/90).
  3. Average reading: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.
  4. Clear memory: Hold SET button for 3 seconds while in memory mode (all data erased).

Note: When memory is full, oldest reading is overwritten by newest.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth only. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean main unit with dry soft cloth only.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  5. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble unit.
