  1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons who cannot express themselves.
  2. Consult physician before use if you have arrhythmia, blood circulation problems, or other conditions.
  3. Do not use during or immediately after physical exercise, bathing, eating, or drinking alcohol/caffeine.
  4. Ensure cuff is at heart level during measurement.
  5. Do not over-tighten cuff.

Specifications

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date and time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC Adapter: Plug into AC jack and wall outlet (for battery-free operation).
  3. Set Date and Time: Press and hold CLOCK SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  4. Select User: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 before measurement.

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at same time each day in relaxed state.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align marker line with artery.
  3. Position cuff at heart level, rest arm on table.
  4. Press START/STOP button; device inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes.
  6. Readings display: Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse Rate.
  7. Device automatically deflates and stores reading.

Tip: Wait at least 3 minutes between measurements on same person.

Memory Function

Stores 100 readings per user with date and time.

  1. Select User: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. Recall Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average Reading: Display shows average of last three readings for selected user.
  4. Clear Memory: To clear all readings for a user, remove batteries while holding MEMORY button (resets that user's memory only).

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced (if done quickly).

Care & Maintenance

Clean device regularly for optimal performance and hygiene.

  1. Unplug AC adapter/remove batteries before cleaning.
  2. Wipe main unit with soft, dry cloth.
  3. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; air dry completely.
  4. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.
  5. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff in washing machine. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
