Proper preparation ensures accurate measurements.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement.
  2. Sit in a chair with feet flat on floor and back supported.
  3. Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position cuff tube over brachial artery (center of arm).
  5. Secure cuff snugly but not too tight (should fit one finger underneath).
  6. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  7. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Tip: Measure at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate blood pressure reading.

  1. Insert cuff tube into cuff port on main unit.
  2. Press START/STOP button to begin.
  3. Cuff inflates automatically to optimal pressure.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Results display systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  6. Hypertension indicator appears if readings are high.
  7. Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if detected.
  8. Measurement automatically stores in memory.
  9. Press START/STOP to turn off device.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm.

Memory Function

Device stores 90 readings with date and time.

  1. Press MEMORY button to recall stored readings.
  2. Use arrow buttons to scroll through memory.
  3. Display shows reading number, date, time, systolic/diastolic, pulse.
  4. Press SET button to delete individual readings.
  5. To clear all memory: Hold SET button for 3 seconds while in memory mode.
  6. Average function: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.

Note: Memory is maintained when changing batteries or unplugging AC adapter.
