Safety Precautions

Before using the device, read all safety instructions carefully.

  1. Do not use the monitor on infants, small children, or persons who cannot express themselves.
  2. Do not use the monitor on an arm with an intravenous drip or shunt.

Parts Identification

Familiarize yourself with the main components of the monitor.

  1. Main Unit: Contains the display, control buttons, and air hose connector.
  2. IntelliWrap Cuff: Pre-formed cuff with D-ring for easy self-application.
  3. Air Hose: Connects the cuff to the main unit.
  4. START/STOP Button: Initiates and stops the measurement.

  6. SET Button: Sets the date, time, and user profile.

CAUTION! Ensure the air hose is securely connected before use.

Initial Setup

Prepare the monitor for first-time use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back and insert 4 AA batteries, observing polarity.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press the SET button and use the START/STOP button to adjust values. Press SET to confirm.
  3. Select User: Press the MEMORY button to toggle between USER 1 and USER 2.
  4. Apply the Cuff: Place your left arm through the cuff loop. Position the cuff 1-2 cm above your elbow with the air tube running down the center of your arm. Secure the cuff snugly with the cloth closure.

Tip: For the most accurate readings, rest for 5 minutes before measuring and avoid talking or moving during the measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate blood pressure reading.

  1. Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor and your back supported.
  2. Place your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  3. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet until the measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
  5. Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
  6. The reading is automatically stored in memory for the selected user.
  7. To turn the unit off, press the START/STOP button again.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around your arm.

Memory Function

How to store, recall, and manage readings.

  1. Automatic Storage: Each measurement is automatically saved with date and time for the selected user.
  2. Recall Readings: Press the MEMORY button. Use the START/STOP button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. View Averages: While in memory mode, press the SET button to display the average of the last three morning or evening readings.
  4. Clear Memory: To delete all readings for the current user, press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds while in memory mode.

Note: Memory is separate for USER 1 and USER 2.
