Initial Setup

Power on device; set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries matching polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector port until it clicks.
  4. Test operation: Press START/STOP to ensure display activates.

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still and quiet.
  5. Read results: Display will show systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings.
  6. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Understanding Results

Refer to blood pressure classification chart in manual for normal/elevated/hypertension ranges.

Memory Function

Stores readings with date and time for two users (User A and User B).

  1. Select user: Press USER button to toggle between User A and User B.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Clear memory: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds until display shows "0".
  4. Average reading: Device calculates average of last 3 readings for selected user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth, air dry completely before storage.
  2. Storage: Keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  3. Batteries: Replace when low battery symbol appears.
  4. Inspection: Check cuff and tubing regularly for cracks or damage.
