Specifications

First-Time Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into AC jack for power without batteries.
  3. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.

CAUTION! Ensure proper cuff placement for accurate readings. Do not overtighten.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate blood pressure measurement.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement.
  3. Wrap cuff on left arm at heart level.
  4. Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
  5. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  6. Read results on display when measurement completes.
  7. Press START/STOP again to turn off device.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Store and review previous measurements.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  4. Average reading: Device displays average of last 3 readings when memory is viewed.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth only.
  2. Do not immerse device in water or use harsh chemicals.

  4. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Have device checked for accuracy every 2 years.
