Device Overview

Familiarize yourself with the monitor's controls and display.

  1. Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, User Select button (1/2).
  2. Display: Shows systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse rate, date/time, user indicator, memory index, and warning symbols.
  3. Cuff Port: Connect cuff tube here.
  4. AC Adapter Jack: Located on the side of the unit.
  5. Battery Compartment: Holds 4 AA batteries (not included).

CAUTION! Keep the device away from water and extreme temperatures.

Setting Up the Monitor

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity, or connect AC adapter.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust values, press MEMORY to confirm.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to the cuff port on the side of the monitor.
  4. Select user: Press User Select button to choose User 1 or User 2 (indicator appears on display).

Tip: For most accurate readings, use AC adapter power when available.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate blood pressure measurement.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit with back straight, feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure cuff tube aligns with artery marker.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Palm facing upward.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings display. Hypertension or irregular heartbeat indicators appear if detected.
  7. Store reading: Reading is automatically stored in memory for selected user.
  8. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not use on infants, small children, or persons with arrhythmia without consulting physician.

Memory Function

View and manage stored readings.

  1. Select user: Press User Select button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings (most recent first).
  3. Average reading: After displaying all readings, average of last 3 readings for selected user appears.
  4. Clear memory: To clear all readings for current user, press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.

Note: Memory is maintained even when batteries are removed or replaced.

  2. Cuff care: Do not fold cuff tightly. Store in provided case.
  3. Batteries: Remove if not using for extended period. Replace all batteries at same time.
  4. Storage: Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  5. Avoid: Dropping, strong impacts, water immersion, or exposure to dust.

CAUTION! Never wash cuff or immerse in water. Do not disassemble the monitor.
