Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into device and wall outlet (optional, for continuous power).
  3. Set date and time: Press MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Attach cuff: Wrap cuff around bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  5. Position device: Place on stable surface at heart level during measurement.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid eating, drinking caffeine, or smoking 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably: Keep feet flat, back supported, arm resting on table.
  2. Apply cuff: Position 1-2 cm above elbow, tighten snugly.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still and quiet.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display after deflation.
  6. Store reading: Automatically saved to selected user's memory.
  7. View average: Press MEMORY button briefly to see average of last 3 readings.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Memory Function

Manage stored readings.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings with date/time.
  2. Delete reading: While viewing specific reading, press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds.
  3. Delete all memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds when device is off.
  4. Switch users: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 memory.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed. Date/time reset if batteries depleted.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean device: Use soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Clean cuff: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent, air dry completely.
  3. Store properly: Keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries: When low battery symbol appears, replace all 4 batteries.
  5. Cuff care: Do not fold tightly or expose to high heat.

CAUTION! Do not immerse device in water. Do not attempt to disassemble.
