Setup and Preparation

Before first use, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Sit correctly: Sit with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.
  5. Remain still: Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings. Do not overtighten.

Controls and Display

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, LCD display.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User indicator (1/2), Memory full, Battery low, Irregular heartbeat, Hypertension, Date/Time, Cuff wrap guide.

Memory Function: Press MEMORY to recall stored readings. Press and hold to switch between User 1 and User 2. Date/Time Setting: Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds, then use START/STOP to adjust values.

Taking Measurements

For most accurate results, measure at same time each day.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measurement.
  2. Apply cuff correctly to left arm (or as directed by physician).
  3. Press START/STOP button - unit will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading displays with systolic, diastolic, and pulse values.
  6. Unit automatically deflates and stores reading.
  7. Remove cuff after measurement is complete.

Tip: Wait at least 3 minutes between measurements on same person.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls up to 14 readings per user.

  1. To view memory: Press MEMORY button once to display most recent reading.
  2. Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through stored readings.
  3. To switch users: Press and hold MEMORY for 2 seconds until user indicator changes.
  4. Memory full indicator: Shows when 14 readings are stored for current user.
  5. To clear memory: Remove batteries for 24 hours (all readings will be lost).

Note: Memory is maintained when replacing batteries if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemicals or immerse in water.

  1. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  3. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled; air dry completely.
  4. Do not bend or twist tubing excessively.
  5. Check cuff for wear or damage regularly.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff in washing machine. Do not expose to extreme temperatures.
