Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries and set the date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on rear, insert 4 AA batteries (LR6) observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds until the year flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust values, MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting (month, day, hour, minute).
  3. Attach Cuff: Connect the air plug from the cuff to the port on the left side of the monitor.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if the monitor will not be used for 3 months or more.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate reading, rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

  1. Sit Correctly: Sit on a chair with feet flat on the floor, back supported.
  2. Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Run tube down center of arm. Wrap cuff snugly using the D-ring.
  3. Position Arm: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during inflation and measurement.
  6. Read Results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The cuff will deflate automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding Results

Memory Function

The monitor stores 100 readings for each of two users.

  1. Select User: Before measurement, press the USER button to select User I or User II.
  2. View Memory: Press the MEMORY button twice to enter memory mode. Use START/STOP to scroll through stored readings for the selected user.
  3. Clear Memory: To clear memory for the selected user, press and hold the MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode until "CLr" appears.

Note: Date and time are stored with each reading. When memory is full, the oldest reading is overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean Monitor: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Clean Cuff: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not immerse in water or machine wash. Air dry completely.
  3. Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

CAUTION! Do not wash or sterilize the cuff in an autoclave, dishwasher, or washing machine.

Battery Information

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if not in use for extended periods.
