Specifications

Initial Setup

Power on device; set date/time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press CLOCK button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air tube to main unit port until it clicks.
  4. Position cuff: Place on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  5. Secure cuff: Wrap snugly but not too tight (allow one finger underneath).

CAUTION! Do not use on injured or sore arm. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

Taking a Measurement

Follow steps for accurate reading.

  1. Sit comfortably: Feet flat on floor, back supported, arm resting on table at heart level.
  2. Apply cuff: As described in Initial Setup.
  3. Select user: Press MEMORY button for User 1 or User 2 (if applicable).
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display after deflation.
  7. Memory storage: Reading is automatically stored for selected user.
  8. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time daily for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls previous readings.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY button for User 1 or User 2.
  2. Recall memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to enter recall mode.
  3. Scroll readings: Use START/STOP button to scroll through stored readings (most recent first).
  4. View average: Display shows average of last 3 readings for selected user.
  5. Exit memory: Press MEMORY button again or wait for auto-off.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug adapter/remove batteries before cleaning. Use dry, soft cloth only.

  1. Clean cuff: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent; air dry completely.
  2. Clean unit: Wipe display and body with dry cloth.
  3. Storage: Keep in case provided; store in cool, dry place.
  4. Battery replacement: Replace all 4 batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Cuff inspection: Check for cracks or wear periodically.
