Safety Information

Parts Identification

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button, LCD display. Cuff: Arm tube, air tube, metal D-ring, cuff wrap guide.

  1. LCD Display: Shows systolic/diastolic pressure, pulse, date/time, user indicator, memory index.
  2. START/STOP Button: Starts and stops measurement.
  3. MEMORY Button: Recalls stored readings.
  4. USER Button: Selects User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.
  5. Cuff: Connects to main unit via air tube.

NOTE: Ensure cuff is properly connected before measurement.

Specifications

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. AC adapter: Connect to DC jack on side of unit (use only supplied adapter).
  3. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Attach cuff: Connect air tube to main unit until it clicks.

CAUTION! Use only specified batteries and adapter. Incorrect power source may damage device.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at same time each day.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercise 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow with tube facing down.
  4. Position cuff at heart level. Press START/STOP button.
  5. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  6. Results display automatically. Unit deflates completely.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn off or wait for auto power-off.

Tip: Take 2-3 readings 1-2 minutes apart and record the average.

Understanding Results

LCD displays systolic pressure (higher number), diastolic pressure (lower number), and pulse rate.

Symbols: Hypertension indicator (if reading exceeds 135/85 mmHg), Irregular heartbeat symbol, Body movement symbol, User indicator (1 or 2), Memory index number.

WHO Classification Bar Graph: - Green: Normal (below 120/80) - Yellow: Prehypertension (120-139/80-89) - Orange: Hypertension Stage 1 (140-159/90-99) - Red: Hypertension Stage 2 (160+/100+)

Memory Function

Stores 60 readings per user with date and time.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. Automatic storage: After measurement, reading is stored automatically for selected user.
  3. Recall readings: Press MEMORY button to view stored readings. Press repeatedly to scroll.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold USER and MEMORY buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

NOTE: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  3. Check cuff periodically for wear or damage.
  4. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled. Air dry completely.
  5. Avoid bending air tube sharply or pulling forcefully.
