Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, press MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Apply the Cuff: Place cuff on left upper arm (approx. 1-2 cm above elbow). Ensure air tube aligns with middle of arm. Wrap snugly.

Tip: For most accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit in a chair with feet flat on the floor and back supported.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate reading.

  1. Position: Sit comfortably with cuff at heart level.
  2. Connect: Plug cuff tube into the monitor's port.
  3. Power On: Press POWER button. All display symbols will appear briefly.
  4. Start: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  6. Reading: Monitor will deflate and display systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
  7. Power Off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute, or press POWER.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Excessive pressure may cause injury.

Understanding the Display

Icons and their meanings:

Memory Function

Stores last 30 readings with date and time.

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button. The most recent reading appears.
  2. Scroll: Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through older readings.
  3. Average: The first reading shown when pressing MEMORY is the average of the last 3 readings taken within the last 10 minutes.
  4. Clear Memory: To clear all memory, remove all batteries for 1 minute. Date/time will also reset.

Note: Memory is retained when changing batteries if done quickly (within 1 minute).

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean casing and cuff with a soft, dry cloth.
  2. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.
  3. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place.
  4. Do not store with the cuff tightly wrapped or bent.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
