Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air plug into unit until it clicks.
  4. Test operation: Press START/STOP to ensure device powers on.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported, and arm resting on table at heart level.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff 1-2 cm above elbow with tube positioned over inner arm.
  4. Press START/STOP: Unit will automatically inflate and measure.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse appear on display.
  7. Unit automatically deflates and powers off after displaying results for 2 minutes.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Store and recall previous measurements.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average reading: Last 3 measurements taken within 10 minutes are averaged automatically.
  4. Clear memory: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.
