Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, install 4 AA batteries.

  4. Connect to app: Download Omron Connect, press Bluetooth® button to pair.

Taking Measurements

For accurate readings, follow these steps.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes, feet flat, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Position arm: Keep cuff at heart level, palm up.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP, remain still and quiet.
  5. View results: Reading displays in 30-60 seconds.
  6. For TruRead™: Device automatically takes 3 readings (2-minute intervals) and displays average.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff over 299 mmHg. Stop if pain occurs.

Using the Omron Connect App

Sync data for tracking and sharing.

  1. Download app: Available on App Store and Google Play.
  2. Pair device: Enable Bluetooth®, press Bluetooth® button on monitor.
  3. Sync data: App automatically receives readings after measurement.
  4. View trends: Check graphs, averages, and export data.
  5. Share data: Email or print reports for healthcare provider.

Note: App requires iOS 10.0+ or Android 5.0+.

Memory & Data Management

Store and review up to 200 readings.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through readings.
  2. Delete readings: Hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to clear all data.
  3. Average function: Automatically averages last 3 readings (TruRead™ mode).
  4. Date/Time stamp: Each reading includes measurement timestamp.

Tip: Sync regularly with app to free device memory.

Care & Maintenance

Keep device clean and functioning properly.

  1. Clean cuff: Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or immerse in water.
  2. Clean main unit: Use dry cloth only; no solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store properly: Keep in storage case, away from extreme temperatures.
  4. Replace batteries: When low battery icon appears.
