Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use.

  1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Do not use during or immediately after physical exercise.
  3. Do not take measurements more than 3 times in succession; wait 15 minutes between sessions.
  4. Consult physician for interpretation of readings; monitor is not a diagnostic device.
  5. Keep away from strong electromagnetic fields (microwaves, mobile phones).

WARNING! Do not use on injured or sore arms. Do not modify cuff or tubing.

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter; set date and time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (LR6) observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  3. Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery, secure with D-Ring.
  4. Position Arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level, sit still with feet flat on floor.

CAUTION! Use correct cuff size for accurate readings. Ensure batteries are fresh.

Taking a Measurement

Remain still and quiet during measurement.

  1. Sit comfortably with back straight, feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff correctly as described in Initial Setup.
  3. Press START/STOP button; cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still until cuff deflates and measurement completes.
  5. Readings display systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
  6. Press START/STOP to turn off; unit auto-powers off after 2 minutes.

Tip: Avoid talking or moving during measurement for most accurate results.

Memory Function

Stores up to 200 readings with date and time.

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average Function: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.
  3. Clear Memory: Hold SET button for 3 seconds while in memory mode to clear all data.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Special Features

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth; do not immerse in water.

  1. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  2. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Do not bend tubing sharply or pull on cuff excessively.
  4. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or loses elasticity.
