Safety Precautions

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter; set date and time.

Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (LR6) observing polarity.
Set Date/Time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery, secure with D-Ring.
Position Arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level, sit still with feet flat on floor.

CAUTION! Use correct cuff size for accurate readings. Ensure batteries are fresh.

Taking a Measurement

Remain still and quiet during measurement.

Sit comfortably with back straight, feet flat on floor.
Apply cuff correctly as described in Initial Setup.
Press START/STOP button; cuff will inflate automatically.
Remain still until cuff deflates and measurement completes.
Readings display systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
Press START/STOP to turn off; unit auto-powers off after 2 minutes.

Tip: Avoid talking or moving during measurement for most accurate results.

Memory Function

Stores up to 200 readings with date and time.

View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
Average Function: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.
Clear Memory: Hold SET button for 3 seconds while in memory mode to clear all data.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Special Features

Hypertension Indicator: Displays symbol if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg.
Irregular Heartbeat Detector: Shows symbol if irregular rhythm detected during measurement.
