Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to the air connector on the left side of the unit.
  3. Set date and time: Press SET button, use UP/DOWN to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  4. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.

WARNING! Do not use on infants, small children, or persons unable to express themselves. Ensure cuff is not too tight.

First-Time Setup

Power on monitor; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Set language: Press SET button, select language (ENGLISH default).
  2. Set date and time: Navigate to clock setting, enter current date and time.
  3. User identification: Assign memory slots for multiple users (USER 1, USER 2).
  4. Test measurement: Take a practice reading to ensure proper operation.

CAUTION! Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measurement. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.

Connecting to Power

  1. Turn off monitor before installing batteries or adapter.

  3. For AC adapter, plug into DC 6V port on monitor, then into wall outlet.
  4. Power on; battery icon shows power status.

Tip: Use alkaline batteries for longer life. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow proper procedure.

  1. Prepare: Sit quietly for 5 minutes. Avoid caffeine, exercise, smoking 30 minutes before.
  2. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker.
  3. Position: Rest arm on table, cuff at heart level, feet flat on floor.
  4. Start: Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Hold still: Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display. Hypertension indicator if high.
  7. Store: Reading automatically stores to current user memory.
  8. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Memory and Data Management

Memory: 100 readings (50 per user). Review: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings. Average: Displays average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes. Clear memory: In settings menu, select "Clear All Memory" for current user.

Care & Cleaning

Remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe monitor and cuff with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
