Initial Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported, and arm resting on table.
Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow with tube facing downward.
Align cuff index line with middle of arm; secure with D-Ring.
Press START/STOP button. Monitor will inflate automatically.
Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
Readings display systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
Press START/STOP to turn off, or unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or bathing 30 minutes before measurement.

Hypertension Indicator: Appears if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg.
