Safety Precautions

Before using the monitor, read all safety instructions carefully.

Initial Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press TIME SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air plug into air tube connector until it clicks.
  4. AC adapter: Plug adapter into jack and wall outlet (optional, for home use).

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported, and arm resting on table.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow with tube facing downward.
  3. Align cuff index line with middle of arm; secure with D-Ring.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Monitor will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  6. Readings display systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn off, or unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or bathing 30 minutes before measurement.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls up to 200 readings with date/time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average function: After 3 readings within 10 minutes, average displays automatically.
  3. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to clear all data.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed (for approximately 3 minutes).
