Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air plug into socket until it clicks.
  4. Apply cuff: Place on left arm (recommended) 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with artery.

Tip: For most accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring and avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare arm at heart level.
  3. Press START/STOP button - device will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading displays with systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate.
  6. Device automatically deflates and stores reading.
  7. Remove cuff after measurement is complete.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Do not use near electromagnetic equipment.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 200 readings with date and time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings taken in last 10 minutes.
  3. Clear memory: Hold SET button for 3 seconds when in memory mode to clear all readings.
  4. Memory full: Oldest reading is automatically deleted when memory is full.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are removed (for approximately 3 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled; air dry completely.
  2. Store in provided case when not in use.
  3. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  4. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
  5. Replace batteries when low battery indicator appears.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff in washing machine. Do not expose to strong impacts or vibrations.
