Specifications

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air plug into main unit until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER SELECT to choose User 1 or User 2.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring, avoid caffeine, smoking, and exercise for 30 minutes prior.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Keep cuff at heart level, relax arm on table.
  4. Press START/STOP button - device inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Results display automatically with systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
  7. Device deflates automatically after measurement.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings per user with date and time stamp.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete readings: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode to clear current user's memory.
  3. Switch users: Press USER SELECT to toggle between User 1 and User 2 memory.
  4. Average reading: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 100 readings are stored for current user.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.

  1. Store in carrying case when not in use.
  2. Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
  3. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  4. Do not wrap air tube tightly around device.
  5. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or loses elasticity.

CAUTION! Never immerse device in water or other liquids. Do not autoclave.
