Setting Up the Monitor

Power on and set the date/time before first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back and insert 4 AA batteries, matching the polarity (+/-).
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds until the year flashes. Use the START/STOP button to adjust values and the MEMORY button to confirm and move to the next setting (month, day, hour, minute).

  1. Select User: Press the USER button to select User 1 or User 2. The corresponding icon will appear.
  2. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  3. Remain Still: Sit still and do not talk during inflation and measurement. The monitor detects your pulse.
  4. Reading Display: When measurement is complete, the cuff deflates. Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display.
  5. Hypertension Indicator: If your systolic reading is 135 mmHg or higher, or diastolic is 85 mmHg or higher, the hypertension symbol will appear.
  6. Power Off: The monitor turns off automatically about 1 minute after the reading is displayed.
