Getting Started

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (or connect AC adapter).
  2. Set date and time: Press the SET button, use UP/DOWN to adjust, press SET to confirm.
  3. Attach cuff: Slide arm through cuff, align artery marker with brachial artery, secure with cloth fastener.
  4. Positioning: Sit comfortably with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is not twisted and fits snugly but not too tight. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

Front Panel: START/STOP button, SET button, UP/DOWN buttons, Memory button.

Settings: Press SET to enter setting mode for Date/Time, User selection. Memory: Press MEMORY to view stored readings. Backlight: Automatically turns on during measurement and can be manually activated.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Remain still and quiet, avoid talking or moving during measurement.
  2. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  3. Monitor will display systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  4. Hypertension indicator lights if reading is high.
  5. Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if detected.
  6. Reading is automatically stored in memory for current user.
  7. Cuff deflates completely. Unit turns off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking. Wait at least 3 minutes between readings.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls past measurements.

  1. Select User: Press SET, then UP/DOWN to choose User A or B, press SET to confirm.
  2. View Memory: Press MEMORY button to display average of last 3 readings. Press again to scroll through individual readings with date/time.
  3. Clear Memory: In memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds until display clears.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed. Full memory indicator appears when 100 readings are stored.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter/remove batteries before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth only; do not use solvents or abrasives.

  1. Cuff: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent if soiled. Air dry completely.
  2. Monitor: Clean display and body with dry cloth.
  3. Storage: Keep in storage case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Remove if not used for extended period.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
