Parts Identification

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory button, User button, Display screen. Cuff: Arm tube, Air plug, Velcro fastener, Metal ring.

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air plug to main unit until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press User button to choose User 1 or User 2.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries or AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Keep cuff at heart level, palm up, relax arm.
  4. Press START/STOP button, unit will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Results display with systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings.
  7. Unit deflates automatically and powers off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings total (50 per user).

  1. View memory: Press Memory button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete memory: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds while in memory mode.
  3. Switch users: Press User button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  4. Average reading: Displays average of last 3 readings taken within last 10 minutes.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Understanding Results

WARNING! If irregular heartbeat symbol appears frequently, consult your physician.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled, air dry completely.
  2. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.
  3. Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff in washing machine or use bleach.

Battery Information

Uses 4 AA alkaline batteries (included).

Note: Do not use rechargeable batteries unless specified.
