Parts Identification

Familiarize yourself with the main components before use.

  1. Main Unit: Contains display, control buttons, and air hose connector.
  2. Arm Cuff: Includes D-ring and Velcro closure. Ensure correct size (22-42 cm).
  3. AC Adapter Jack: Located on the side of the unit.
  4. START/STOP Button: Initiates and stops measurement.
  5. MEMORY Button: Accesses stored readings.
  6. USER Button: Selects User 1 or User 2 for memory.

WARNING! Use only the provided AC adapter. Incorrect adapter may cause damage.

Initial Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (or connect AC adapter).
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds, then use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Secure with Velcro.
  4. Position Arm: Rest arm on a table so cuff is at heart level. Sit still with feet flat.

CAUTION! Do not use on infants, small children, or persons with severe circulatory problems.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, remain still and quiet during measurement.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat.
  2. Wrap cuff correctly on bare upper arm.
  3. Press the USER button to select your memory profile (User 1 or User 2).
  4. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  6. Read your systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate on the display.
  7. The monitor will automatically store the reading and power off.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes before measurement.

Memory Function

Review and manage stored readings.

  1. Press MEMORY button to enter memory mode.
  2. Use USER button to select User 1 or User 2 memory.
  3. Press START/STOP to scroll through readings (most recent first).
  4. Each reading shows systolic/diastolic, pulse, date, and time.
  5. To clear all memory for a user: In memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds until display clears.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed or replaced.
