Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. Consult your physician for proper monitoring.

  1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons who cannot express themselves.
  2. Do not use during physical exercise or immediately after exercise.
  3. Do not wrap cuff over clothing; ensure cuff is at heart level.
  4. Do not use if device is damaged or cuff is torn.
  5. Keep device away from electromagnetic fields (microwaves, mobile phones).

WARNING! This device is for home use only, not for clinical diagnosis. Do not adjust medication based solely on readings.

Parts Identification

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button, Display screen. Cuff: D-Ring, air tube, metal hook. Rear: Battery compartment, AC adapter jack.

  1. Display: Shows systolic/diastolic pressure, pulse, date/time, icons.
  2. START/STOP: Begins and stops measurement.
  3. MEMORY: Recalls stored readings.
  4. USER: Selects User 1 or User 2.
  5. Cuff: Wrap around upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings.

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, install 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press MEMORY for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER to choose User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Tip: Use fresh alkaline batteries for best performance.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm with tube aligned with artery.
  3. Position cuff at heart level; rest arm on table.
  4. Press START/STOP; device inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes.
  6. Readings display with pulse; device deflates automatically.
  7. Record reading if desired; device stores automatically.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement.

Understanding the Display

Display shows systolic pressure (top), diastolic pressure (middle), pulse rate (bottom). Icons: User 1/2, memory, irregular heartbeat, body movement, hypertension, battery, clock.

Symbol Guide: Heart with exclamation = irregular heartbeat. Person moving = body motion detected. Triangle with exclamation = hypertension. Battery = low battery. Clock = date/time set.

WHO Indicator: Normal (green), Prehypertension (yellow), Hypertension (red).

Memory Function

Stores 100 readings total (50 per user).

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY to scroll through readings.
  2. Delete memory: Hold MEMORY for 3 seconds in memory mode, confirm with START/STOP.
  3. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for current user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.

  1. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.
  2. Remove batteries if not used for 3 months.
  3. Replace cuff if torn or damaged.
  4. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or humidity.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol or solvents; avoid sharp objects near cuff.
