Parts Identification

Front Panel: LCD Display, START/STOP Button, MEMORY Button. Side: AC Adapter Jack. Cuff: Arm Tube, Cloth Wrap, Metal Ring, Air Plug.

  1. Main Unit: Houses display and control buttons.
  2. Arm Cuff: Wraps around upper arm (22-32 cm circumference).
  3. AC Adapter: Powers device (optional, 4 AA batteries primary).

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Incorrect power source may damage device.

Specifications

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Prepare cuff.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC Adapter: Plug into unit and wall outlet (optional).
  3. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff directly on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position Tube: Air tube should run down center of inner arm.
  5. Secure Cuff: Tighten so only one finger fits between cuff and arm.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit in a chair with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

Ensure proper posture and cuff position.

  1. Sit comfortably with back straight and supported.
  2. Place arm on table so cuff is at heart level.
  3. Press START/STOP button. All display symbols appear briefly.
  4. Cuff inflates automatically. Remain still and quiet.
  5. Measurement completes; cuff deflates. Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse display.
  6. Press START/STOP to turn off, or unit auto-off after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Inflating cuff too high may cause discomfort.

Understanding the Display

LCD shows measurement results and icons.

Main Values: Systolic Pressure (top), Diastolic Pressure (middle), Pulse Rate (bottom).

Icons: Hypertension Indicator (if systolic ≥135 or diastolic ≥85), Irregular Heartbeat Symbol, Body Movement Symbol, Memory Number, Average Symbol, Battery Indicator, Date/Time.

Note: If an error occurs, an error symbol (e.g., E1, E2) displays. Refer to troubleshooting.

Memory Function

Stores 60 readings automatically. Press MEMORY button to review.

  1. Press MEMORY once to display last reading with memory number.
  2. Press again to scroll through previous readings (date/time shown).
  3. Hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to display average of last 3 readings.
  4. To clear all memory, remove batteries while holding MEMORY button (caution: irreversible).

Tip: Memory is sequential; oldest reading is overwritten when memory is full.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device and cuff regularly. Store properly.

  1. Unplug AC adapter or remove batteries before cleaning.
  2. Wipe main unit with soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Cuff may be hand-washed in mild soapy water. Air dry completely before use.
  4. Store in provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

CAUTION! Do not immerse unit in water. Do not wash cuff in washing machine or dryer.
